The Executive Office in Office of the Prime Minister takes leadership of Government business in the Parliament of Uganda where the Rt.

Office of the Prime Minister is making operational the Institutional Framework for Coordination of Policies and Programme in the Government of Uganda and implementing the Public Sector Management.

The Ministry has a finance and administration support department.

Through formulation of policies on information and national guidance, the Ministry aims to ensure a well informed and mobilized society on the cohesive and sustainable national development.

The Ministry coordinates development of capacities for prevention, preparedness, and response to natural and human induced disasters and refugees.

The Office of the Prime Minister coordinates and monitors the implementation of special Government policies and programmes for Northern Uganda, Luwero/Rwenzori and Karamoja Regions.
